About The Role

The Corporate Trainer shall be responsible for increasing company productivity by teaching new skills and knowledge to company leadership and employees through implementing informative training sessions and effectively deconstruct and disseminate both simple and complicated concepts and information to different audiences.


Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing effective training courses on various topics

  • Organizing and directing seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions

  • Preparing hard and soft copies of training material such as training programme overviews, summaries, presentations, videos, etc.

  • Collaborating with management to identify training requirements

  • Conducting market research on training trends and best practices

  • Providing mentorship and support to trainees as required

  • Monitoring and evaluating knowledge retention and practical application in trainees

  • Conducting analyses to identify areas of improvement

  • Identifying and making proposals on training venues and booking the approved venues

  • Fixing and adhering to the decided training budgets

  • Keeping meticulous training records and trainee progress reports and managing the attendance of the trainees

  • Preparing and presenting training reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or in a relevant field from a recognized institution

  • 2+ years of proven work experience as a Corporate Trainer, Technical Trainer/Training Specialist

  • A professional certification program e.g. Train the Trainer will be an advantage

  • Willingness to adopt new training techniques incorporate teaching

  • Expert in MS Office is mandatory. Expert in E-learning software will be a distinct advantage

  • Great communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational and decision-making skills

  • Strong knowledge of training procedures, methodologies, and materials

  • Extraordinary public speaking and presentation skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain active company social media pages and profiles

  • Create and implement social media marketing plans, promotions, activities and editorial calendar with a view to increase reach and uptake

  • Develop and execute social media strategies through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification

  • Create and execute online content on schedule including original text, images, video, and HTML, including editing, publishing and sharing

  • Market Company services online and on social media, generating interest and leads

  • Collaborate on crisis management on user-generated content and communications e.g. bad reviews, negative comments/replies & publications, and reputation management, and acting as the moderator on social media platforms, in keeping with and based on company and community policies etc. with a view to managing the company reputation

  • Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office

  • Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen

  • Familiarity with CRM programs

  • Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc.)

  • Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling and mining

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work independently and in an integrated team setting

  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail are essential

  • Strong interest, ability & capacity to translate data and research into strategic insights and recommendations

  • Passion for working with data and deriving insights to identify client business needs

  • Experience with social listening tools such as Quid, Brandwatch, and Trendkite is a plus

  • Ability to manipulate and leverage large scale data leveraging tools e.g Tableau, Google Data Studio, Domo, Excel, etc. is a plus.
